Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) is one of the most used policy tools to strengthen the collection of products in their post-consumer phase.

This summary report presents a selection of implementation examples of EPR systems, with a focus in two of its main components: financing mechanisms and the setting of collection targets. A comparison of the implementation of this policy in the EU, India, Singapore and Russia is presented.
