Local strategies for the implementation of a Source Segregation Program for WEEE

Source Segregation Programs (SSP) are a key instruments of E-waste management strategies. This report explores this policy tool from the Peruvian experience implementing it. Several examples are described, all of them from the Lima metropolitan area.

Its purpose is to guide local municipalities in their road to implement a SSP, focusing on the initial stage of a pilot trial.
