iLembe WEEE Research Study – Results of the household survey

This report presents data and information on the current level of knowledge, awareness and insight that households in iLembe possess in relation to the types of WEEE that they generate. The study investigates WEEE management practices of households, such as the type of WEEE they generate, if and how they dispose of different types of WEEE, how frequently they generate and dispose of WEEE, and if and how they repair certain types of WEEE. The study also investigates the preferences around the disposal of WEEE, including optimal methods of disposal, frequency of service, and types of WEEE collected.
