This online training offers a comprehensive, structured learning experience designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to understand and address e-waste. Developed by SRI country teams and international experts, and adapted from in-person trainings, this modular course covers key aspects of e-waste management — from fundamental definitions to advanced recycling technologies, policy frameworks, and auditing practices.
Through six modules, participants will explore key topics such as health and environmental risks, responsible dismantling techniques, the role of the informal sector, and best practices in waste management. With contributions from international experts and real-world case studies, the training provides valuable insights into e-waste management solutions that support a circular economy.
Originally developed under SRI, this training is carried forward by CEI as part of its commitment to sharing knowledge as a global public good. It is freely available to the international e-waste management community of practice — including policymakers, industry professionals, researchers, and anyone with an interest in driving meaningful change in the sector.
